Hiraeth ( ongoing )

Hiraeth: a homesickness for a home to which you cannot return, a home which never was; an intense form of longing or nostalgia for a place long gone; A deep inborn sense of yearning; the Nostalgia and the grief for The Lost place or people of past.

Love is an experience, an embark on a journey…
This is not a love story, this is a story about love ♡

When you left me, I was shattered and debilitated. I didn’t know what to do. I felt agitated and depressed at the same time. Countless, sleepless nights made me realise insomnia had kicked in. I couldn’t eat. My mood swings were unrestrained. All because my unflinching unconditional love for you, was never enough. Some things are better to be left unsaid. But I remember you saying once, ” Tomake Durga thakurer moto dekhte lagche.” ( Translation: “You look like Goddess Durga.”) And to be honest, that was the happiest moment of my life.
But you know what? Thank you. Thank you for leaving me when I needed a shoulder to cry on. Thank you for insulting my feelings because this led me to become a better version of myself. When I was with you, I feared that my good days were over and I couldn’t stand back up anymore, but I can stand again now. I neglected my self respect, opinions, everything for you and I was wrong because love doesn’t ask you to discard your pride, it’s about protecting a person. So, thank you. Because of you, I learnt that love is about giving your everything to that one special person to the best of your abilities. So I’ decided to not hate you anymore. Life is too short and you’ve become too unimportant for me. I’ve decided to not do this in the future. I won’t believe people so easily. I won’t fall in love so easily. I wont ever forgive easily either. I will become stronger.
